The greatest and oldest industrial dynasty in the world started in 1526 when gunsmith Maestro Bartolomeo Beretta of Gardone Val Trompia (Brescia, Lombardy, Italy) was paid 296 ducats in payment for 185 arquebus barrels by the Arsenal of Venice.
In 2026, which is only 16 years away, Beretta will celebrate 500 year of manufacturing arms.
In an attempt to put the Beretta dynasty into some perspective, new boy to the industry, John Moses Browning died on November the 26th 1926...... 400 years after the greatest arms dynasty officially started trading.
Every single gun manufacturer the world has ever seen, learnt from the centuries of pioneering hard work and patented designs from the incredible Beretta family !
