Joseph Manton & Son.

* 15 Bore double barrel percussion sporting gun by Joseph Manton & Son. Very high quality gun by this famous London gun maker. Circa 1835, engraved on the rib "Joseph Manton & Son, Patentees, Cavendish Square, London. Re-browned 29" barrels, replacement ram rod, only £1500 *


A very special Double Flintlock.

* 20 bore Flintlock side by side sporting gun, locks marked "Chanei"? with the 30 1/2" barrels engraved "London Twist" and has Belgium proof marks, the walnut stock carved with a stags head to the belly of the stock and has a steel butt plate and silver wire inlaid to it.

This is a good useable gun that won't break the bank or cause a divorce, only £1,250 *


Side by Side Muzzle loader.

* A good early percussion muzzle loading shotgun by C. Playfair & Co, this would make either a good shooter or a fine collectible piece, only £375-00  *


G & J Burrows.

* A 16 bore side by side percussion muzzle loading shotgun by G & J Burrows. 29 3/4" Damascus barrels, the rib marked "G & J Burrows 116 Fishlegate  Preston, Lanc's" The gun has its original ramrod with captive worm and brass cap. Lock and action nicely engraved with the addition of having the butt plate, trigger guard and finial re-blacked, on the whole, a very nice collectible gun, only £850-00 *


Pryse & Redman Double Rifle.

* A very scarce  16 bore percussion double rifle for a belted ball, by Pryse and Redman. 29 1/4" Damascus barrels with a solid rib with one standing and 3 leaf sights, the action has an extra long tang and bolted locks. It has a nice scroll grip trigger guard and unusual set triggers. The nice walnut stock has a patch box that is nicely engraved with a running stag, the gun comes with a modern belted ball mould for casting new lead balls, only £1,750-00 *


Hollis Brothers.

* A 16 Bore side by side percussion fowler by the prestigious gun maker Hollis Bros & Co, with beautiful 30" Damascus barrels having a fantastic bore with platinum blow out plugs. The rib is engraved "Hollis Brothers & Co Makers to HMH Board of Ordnance" The action and locks are beautifully engraved as can be seen in the pictures. The locks also has three stops and two side nails to the forend.

Note: The Hollis Brothers were active in Birmingham from 1840 to 1848 and used the Hollis Brothers name from 1845 to 1848. This gun typifies the 1st class quality of workmanship they produced, all in all, a fine quality gun that will appreciate in value, only £2,500-00 *

Muzzle loading sporting gun

* 16 Bore single barrel muzzle loading sporting gun with 29 1/4" barrel and 14 1/4" pull. This gun is an a nice overall condition, only £300-00 *


20 bore percussion covert gun.

* A super quality 20 bore double barrel percussion covert/coaching gun by G. Rooke of London. Circa 1860, 16" barrels with unmarked bores. Original ebony ramrod with brass capped worm, the whole retaining much of the original finish. The barrels are marked 'Fine Twist' as well as being marked 'G. Rooke', a very rare and beautiful gun, only £900-00 *


 * 26 Bore percussion medium game rifle Circa 1850 by J. Blanch 29 Gracechurch Street, London. Re-browned octagonal wire twisted 30 "barrel,  trigger guard, tang & butt plate all engraved with foliage, only £950-00 *


* Muzzle loading Rook & Rabbit rifle by Bull of Bedford, 70 bore, single set trigger with spur trigger guard, barrel length 29 1/2", overall length 45 7/8", good bore, £750-00 *


 * Muzzle loading 8 bore by Tipping & Lawden, 36" barrel, original ram rod, very good bore, tip of hammer missing, otherwise very good condition, only £750-00 *


* 14 bore double barrel percussion sporting gun by Chard of London, made during the 3rd quarter of the the 19th century, 30" Damascus barrels, only £850-00 *


* Muzzle loading 8 bore Perc shotgun by William Ellis, 9 Sand Street, Birmingham. Very good overall condition, and very good bore, overall length 48 1/2, 13 3/4" pull and 31 1/2" barrel, only £950-00 *


 * Flintlock Blunderbuss made by the very famous John Harding of London, famous for supplying guns to mail coaches in the 17th Century. This gun is beautiful, a real piece of English history at its best. The stock has been broken and repaired at the hand, as the photographs show. Overall length is 28 1/4", this gun is in quite an excellent condition apart form the previously mentioned repaired damage. Only £1750-00 *


 * Double barreled 6 Bore roach belly stocked muzzle loading percussion wild fowling gun. 30 1/2" Damascus barrels, 15 7/8" pull, overall length is 48", made by Mantin, only £1900-00 *


 * 11 Bore single barrel percussion wild fowling gun converted from flinklock, made by W. Harrison, 39" Damascus barrel, 55 3/4" overall length, pistol grip stock, one ramrod pipe missing, only £1200-00 *
